Ingredients
- 1 large cabbage, shredded
- 1 or 2 white onions, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 3/4 c. oil
Directions

1Layer cabbage and onions in large casserole dish ending with cabbage.

2Sprinkle sugar and celery seed over cabbage.

3Bring to a boil vinegar, salt and mustard.

4Add oil and bring to a boil again.

5Pour over top of cabbage.

6Do not mix.

7Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

8(Best if refrigerated overnight.)

9Will keep for several weeks.
