- 2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour and salt.

2Cut in the butter until mixture resembles a coarse meal.

3Remove 1 cup of mixture and combine with nuts and cinnamon; set aside.

4To remaining crumb mixture, add milk and baking powder.

5Spread into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

6Sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture over the batter.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until tests done. Cut into squares and garnish with whipped cream.

8Makes 12 to 16 servings.
