- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 c. drained fruit
Directions

1Place margarine in an 11-inch pie pan and let melt.

2Make a batter of the brown sugar, flour and buttermilk and pour into the pan with the melted margarine.

3Pour the 2 cups of drained fruit on the batter.

4Cook at 350° until golden brown.

5(If using sour cherries, add 1/2 cup white sugar.)
