  • 8 oz. pkg. corn muffin mix
  • 1/4 c. cracked wheat or bulgar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. maple syrup, maple flavored syrup, butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. quick rolled oats
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    In mixing bowl, stir together corn muffin mix, rolled oats and cracked wheat.

    Add eggs and milk; stir until mixture is moistened. Stir in pecans.

    Spread batter evenly in a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

    Drizzle with the 1 tablespoon syrup.

    Bake in a 400° oven for about 20 minutes or until done.

    Serve warm, cut into squares, with additional maple syrup or butter or margarine.
