Ingredients

  • 4 c. boiling water
  • 9 c. water
  • 2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice or pineapple-orange drink (such as Hi-C)
  • 8 oz. lemon juice
  • 7-Up, ginger ale or other lemon-lime drink
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 3 small pkg. cherry or other red gelatin
  • 1 oz. bottle almond extract

Directions

    Dissolve sugar and gelatin in boiling water.

    Add additional water and mix.

    Add rest of ingredients except 7-Up.

    Freeze overnight or longer.

    At time of serving, remove from freezer 1 hour prior to serving (if not too hot) and add ginger ale, 7-Up, etc., to make as many servings as you need.

    Mixture can be refrozen.

    Serves up to 50 punch servings.
