- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Directions

1Butter a 9 x 9-inch square pan.

2Spread nuts on bottom of pan. Cream butter and sugar over heat and bring to a boil for 7 minutes, stirring constantly.

3Spread over nuts.

4Sprinkle morsels over the top and spread to melt.

5Put cookie sheet over the top to hold in the heat to melt morsels.

6While warm, cut in squares; then chill until firm.
