  • 1 1/4 c. oats, uncooked
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/3 c. chopped dates
  • 1/3 c. melted corn oil margarine
  • 1/3 c. wheat germ or chopped nuts

    Brown in heavy skillet over medium heat, about 5 minutes.

    Spread out on cookie sheet to cool. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
