  • 3 sticks butter or margarine
  • 3 1/2 c. plain flour, sifted 3 times
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until it becomes ice cream.

    Beat eggs, one at a time.

    Add flour, vanilla flavoring and lemon flavoring. Bake at 300° for 2 hours.

    Turn oven temperature down to 200° and bake 1/2 hour longer.
