- 1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp. lemon extract
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream the butter well.

2Add sugar; mix, then add eggs, then flavoring.

3Combine flour and salt; do not overbeat.

4Pour into a greased tube pan.

5Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.

6Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then turn out of pan.
