- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 4 eggs
Directions

1In a medium saucepan, heat butter with water over high heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted and mixture is boiling. Add salt and flour all at once. Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture leaves sides of pan in a smooth compact ball. Remove from heat.

2Quickly add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition until smooth and shiny.

3Drop mixture by spoonful on ungreased cookie sheet, 3-inches apart, shaping each into a mound.

4Bake in a 400° oven 50 minutes.

5Cool on wire rack.
