Cured Ham in Japanese-Style Marinade

- 150 grams Cured ham (block)
- 1/2 Onion
- 2 stick Asparagus
- 1 tbsp Shiro-dashi
- 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/3 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 wedge Lemon
Directions

1Thinly slice the onion and soak it in water.

2Slice the ham as thinly as possible, then thinly slice the asparagus diagonally.

3Tightly squeeze any remaining water out of the soaked onion and put it in a heat-resistant container.

4Then add the asparagus, shiro-dashi, apple cider vinegar and sugar and heat for roughly 1 minute in the microwave.

5Mix well.

6Put the sliced ham and soy sauce into the container as well and once mixed in, wrap tightly and leave to chill in the refrigerator.

7Transfer the mixture into serving dishes and serve with a wedge of lemon.

8Squeeze on the lemon just before eating.
