- 2 cups unbleached flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon & nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cardommen & cloves
- 2 sticks and 2 Tblsp. unsalted butter
- 1 3/4 cup raw sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 cup currants
- 1/2 cup ginger chips
- 3 cups rolled oats
Directions

1Preheat over to 350 degrees.

2In a small bowl whisk together flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices.

3In a larger bowl beat on medium speed with a mixer the butter and sugars till lightened a bit. Then mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir the flour mixture into the butter mixutre until well blended. Stir in the remainder of the ingredients. Drop dough with a tablespoon onto a foiled cookie sheet and bake for 7-9 minutes until lightly borwned on top.

4Transfer to a rack to cool.
