Curried Apples

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Curry Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 whole Large Apples, Peeled And Sliced Into 1/4 Inch Slices
  • 1/4 cups Apple Cider Or Apple Juice
  • 1 pinch Salt

Directions

    In a 12 inch frying pan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Once the butter begins to sizzle, add curry powder and cinnamon to the butter and stir until incorporated and fragrant.

    Add sliced apples to the skillet and toss to fully coat the apples with the butter mixture. Turn up the heat to medium and saute the apples for 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the apples begin to soften and gently brown.

    Pour the apple cider over the apples and continue sauteing the apples an additional 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the cider has reduced and the apples are soft and glazed. Add a dash of salt if desired.

    Serve immediately or store the apples in the refrigerator in a tightly covered container.
