- 1 cup rice
- 1 apple, cored and peeled
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 12 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1 12 cups chicken broth
Directions

1Cut the apple into cubes.

2Heat 2 tbsp butter in saucepan and add the onion and garlic.

3Cook until onion wilts.

4Stir in the apple and curry powder.

5Add rice, bay leaf and chicken broth.

6Cover and cook 17 minutes over low heat.

7When rice is done, add 1 tablespoon butter and fluff with fork.
