- 2 chickens
- 2 medium onions
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- salt
- garlic powder
- mild or spicy curry
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 green pepper
- pepper
- 6 large potatoes
Directions

1Clean the chicken.

2Cut the chicken in quarters.

3In a skillet melt the butter and vegetable oil.

4Sprinkle garlic powder into butter and vegetable oil.

5Season the chicken with the curry powder, pepper and salt.

6Place chicken into skillet.

7Brown all chicken pieces on both sides for about 10 minutes.

8When chicken is brown, remove from pan.

9Add onions and green pepper in skillet. Add chicken and cut quartered potatoes.

10Sprinkle with more curry; let simmer covered.

11Add 1 cup of water at 1/2 hour.

12Serve with white rice.
