  • 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon paprika
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 18 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 -4 lbs chicken pieces
  • 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine
  • 12 cup chopped green pepper
  • 14 cup chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 -1 12 teaspoon curry powder
  • 12 teaspoon dried thyme
  • hot cooked rice

Directions

    In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, salt, paprika, pepper and ginger; coat chicken pieces.

    In a large skillet, brown chicken in butter.

    Transfer to a greased 13-in.

    In the same skillet, saute the green pepper, onion and garlic until tender.
