Custard Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • stale bread (3 or 4 days old)
  • 1/2 stick melted oleo
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 qt. sweet milk
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Spray a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish with Pam or any pan spray.

    Line the dish with stale bread and dribble with melted oleo over bread. Beat eggs with sugar, milk and vanilla.

    Pour over bread.

    Bake in 325° oven for approximately 1 hour.

    Place a pan of water under the pudding in the oven for moisture.

    When done, sprinkle with sugar over top and broil until bubbly.

    Serve with Honey Sauce.
