- 3 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons heaped custard powder
- 1/3 cup sugar
- cashew nuts (to garnish)
Directions

1Mix custard powder in half cup cold milk (boiled and cooled milk).

2Heat remaining milk with sugar in a heavy bottomed vessel.

3Once sugar melts and milk comes to a boil, reduce heat.

4Pour dissolved custard mixture.

5Stir well so that no lumps remain.

6Cook till it becomes slightly transparent and shiny.

7When it sticks to the vessel, add ghee.

8Remove from heat when halwa consistency is reached.

9Decorate with chopped cashewnuts.
