- 2 quarts milk, scalded
- 3 cups sugar
- 10 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
Directions

1Heat milk in double boiler.

2Beat eggs together with salt and sugar, mix well.

3Thin with a little warm milk.

4Pour mixture into hot milk and cook until mixture coats a spoon.

5Add vanilla and cool.

6Add whipping cream just before freezing.

7Freeze in electric or hand cranked freezer.
