  • Pastry for one crust pie
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 2/3 cup scalding milk

Directions

    Make pastry for one crust pie.

    Mix all ingredients, except milk, in a bowl and whisk.

    Slowly pour in scalded milk and mix. Pour into pie shell and bake at 425 for 25-30 minutes.
