  • 3 c. milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • pinch of salt
  • unbaked pie crust

Directions

    Scald milk and mix the slightly beaten eggs, sugar, nutmeg, vanilla and salt.

    Stir the milk gradually into egg mixture.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 325° and bake until knife blade comes out clean, about 25 minutes.

    Use unbaked pie crust.
