Ingredients

  • 1/2 to 1 lb. ground beef
  • 8 oz. elbow macaroni
  • 1 qt. tomato juice
  • seasoning to taste

Directions

    In a 5-quart pan, place 6 cups of water.

    Add 1 teaspoon salt and bring to a boil.

    Add macaroni and cook until tender.

    Drain and reserve.

    In same pan, brown ground beef and drain off grease. Add macaroni to beef.

    Stir and add tomato juice.

    Warm through on medium heat.

    Stir occasionally.

    Season to taste.
