- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
- nutmeg (optional)
- 1 (9-inch) pie crust (unbaked)
Directions

1Refrigerate pie crust while preparing filling.

2Add sugar, salt, almond flavoring and vanilla to the eggs, stirring constantly.

3Slowly pour in the milk. Pour into pastry lined pie pan.

4Bake at 400° for 20 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between side and center comes out clean.

5Cool.

6Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
