  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • dash of nutmeg
  • single crust pastry

Directions

    Put strips of foil around the edge of pastry.

    Bake pastry for 5 minutes at 450°.

    Cool.

    Beat eggs; stir in other ingredients. Mix well.

    Pour into pastry.

    Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.

    Remove foil and bake 30 minutes longer at 350°.

    Remove from oven and cool 2 hours.
