- 4 eggs (room temperature)
- 1 qt. warm milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Beat eggs slightly.

2Add salt and sugar and beat until dissolved.

3Add milk and vanilla and mix well.

4Pour into a 10-inch pie shell, unbaked, and sprinkle with nutmeg (nutmeg may be added with the sugar).

5Bake for 10 minutes at 450°.

6Reduce temperature to 350° and bake 15 minutes longer or until knife inserted in pie comes out clean.
