- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. milk, scalded
Directions

1Beat eggs slightly and combine with sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.

2Slowly add milk; mix well and pour into 9-inch pastry-lined pie shell.

3Bake in hot oven at 450° for 10 minutes, then in moderate oven at 325° for 25 minutes.
