  • 3 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Add sugar, milk, vanilla and salt.

    Place over low heat, stirring constantly.

    When steam shows, remove from heat and pour into pie shell.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then at 350° for 15 minutes.
