  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 well beaten eggs
  • nutmeg

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    In a medium bowl, combine Eagle Brand milk, water, salt and vanilla.

    Add eggs and mix well.

    Pour into pie shells.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 300°.

    Bake 30 to 45 additional minutes, or until knife inserted in middle comes out clean.

    Cool at room temperature.

    Refrigerate leftovers.
