  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. cold milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Beat eggs with the sugar.

    Add the milk, salt and vanilla. Sprinkle top of pie with nutmeg.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then drop oven to 350° for 30 minutes or when dinner knife is inserted in pie and comes out clean.

    Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
