  • 2 eggs or 4 yolks
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. scalded milk
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)

Directions

    Beat eggs, sugar and salt slightly, then add everything else. Pour into 1-quart baking dish and set in pan of water 1-inch deep. Bake at 350° for 50 or 60 minutes.
