  • 1 duck, cut up
  • salt
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 qt. tomato juice
  • 1 Tbsp. marjoram
  • water
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 Tbsp. flour
  • blood from duck, mixed with some vinegar to keep smooth

Directions

    Put duck, salt, onion, vinegar and tomato juice in a large pot.

    Add enough water to make about 2 gallons.

    Boil all this until duck is tender.

    Remove duck and onion.
