Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. water or milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 can water
  • gravy coloring (if desired)
  • can or jar mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 lb. ground beef, chicken or turkey
  • dash of celery salt or chopped celery

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except can of soup, 1/4 can of water and optional mushrooms together.

    Shape into small meatballs.

    Brown in skillet.

    Then add soup, 1/4 can of soup and optional mushrooms.

    Simmer about 45 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking.
