- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup (2/3 stick) pareve margarine
- 2 ounces (2 squares) unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- Confectioners' sugar
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Mixing bowls
- Wooden spoon
- Fork or wire whisk
- Greased 8-inch square pan
- Rubber scraper
- Spatula
Directions

1Child: Mix together the flour, salt, and baking powder.

4Gradually beat the sugar into the eggs, then beat in the margarine and chocolate.
