- 10 to 12 thighs
- flour
- margarine
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 small onion
- 2 pieces bay leaf
- 2 strips bacon
- white wine
- rice
Directions

1Coat thighs in seasoned flour.

2Fry in margarine until very brown.

3Put in small roaster pan with drippings.

4Add mushrooms and juice.

5Sprinkle thyme over it, along with onion (sliced), bay leaf and bacon.

6Add lots of white wine and cook slowly until tender at about 250°.

7Cook covered and keep adding wine if cocktail hour drags on.

8Serve over rice.

9Makes lots of good juice.
