  • 8 ounces almond paste
  • 3/4 cup crushed zwieback crackers (you can normally find these in the baby food section). If you can't find zwieback, use crushed almond flavored cookies
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 cups unsifted confectioners' (powdered) sugar
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons milk
