  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 eggs separated
  • 3/4 cup flour sifted

    Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

    Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.

    Add the butter and sugar, mix, and remove from heat.

    Beat the egg whites.

    Add the warm chocolate to the butter mixture and mix. Add the egg yolks, stirring constantly, so the eggs don't cook.

    Slowly, add the flour, and then mix in the beaten egg whites lightly.

    Pour batter into a greased and floured cake pan.

    Bake for about 15 minutes.
