- 2 3/8 cups dark chocolate chopped
- 2/3 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 5 eggs separated
- 3/4 cup flour sifted
Directions

1Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.

3Add the butter and sugar, mix, and remove from heat.

4Beat the egg whites.

5Add the warm chocolate to the butter mixture and mix. Add the egg yolks, stirring constantly, so the eggs don't cook.

6Slowly, add the flour, and then mix in the beaten egg whites lightly.

7Pour batter into a greased and floured cake pan.

8Bake for about 15 minutes.

9Garnish with powdered sugar, or make a light chocolate syrup, and ice the cake.
