  • 3/4 c. coarsely chopped hazelnuts (filberts)
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. milk chocolate pieces
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped hazelnuts (filberts)

Directions

    Line a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with foil, extending foil over the edges of the pan.

    Sprinkle the 3/4 cup hazelnuts on the bottom of the foil-lined pan. Set pan aside.
