- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. sliced dates
Directions

1Mix the baking powder, salt and flour.

2Mix dates and nuts through the flour with fingertips.

3Beat eggs until light.

4Beat in sugar gradually.

5Stir in dry ingredients, nuts and dates. Spread mixture evenly over pan lined with paper or well-greased and dusted with flour.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until the surface will spring back when pressed lightly with one finger. Cut in strips 1 x 4-inches.

7Will make 18 bars.
