Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dates, chopped fine
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 can flaked coconut
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cook dates, butter, sugar and vanilla until dates are mushy (5 minutes).

    Combine Rice Krispies, coconut and nuts.

    Mix with other ingredients.

    Roll into balls and powdered sugar.

    Let refrigerate overnight.

    These are good to make for Christmas.
