- 1 1/2 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. Rice Krispies, crushed
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter.

2Add egg.

3Stir (don't beat). Add dates.

4Cook over low heat about 10 minutes. Add pecans.

5Cook 1 more minute.

6Pour onto wax paper to cool.

7When cool enough, shape into balls. Roll in coconut.

8Makes 5 dozen.
