- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 egg
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 stick oleo
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- coconut
Directions

1Melt butter.

2Add sugar, beaten egg and dates.

3Cook slowly for 10 minutes.

4Remove from heat.

5Add vanilla, nuts and Rice Krispies and mix well; let cool.

6Shape into balls and roll in coconut.

7Place on waxed paper.
