- 1/2 lb. chopped dates
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. melted margarine
Directions

1Pit dates and cut into quarters.

2Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

3Add dates and nuts to flour mixture. Beat eggs.

4Add melted butter and combine mixtures.

5Bake in 8 x 12-inch pan for 30 minutes at 350°.

6When slightly cool, cut into bars.

7Roll each bar in powdered sugar.
