Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 sticks oleo or butter
  • 2 (8 oz.) boxes chopped dates
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 2 pkg. frozen coconut or 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
  • powdered sugar
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)

Directions

    Combine butter, dates, coconut and sugar.

    Cook on medium heat until melted.

    Let cool; stir in nuts and Rice Krispies.

    Let cool enough where you can hold in your hands.

    Form into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
