- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, cut up
- pinch of salt
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- flaked coconut
Directions

1Cook margarine, sugar, egg, dates and salt together for 5 minutes.

2Remove from heat and cool.

3Add nuts, Rice Krispies and vanilla.

4Stir well and shape in small balls.

5Roll in flaked coconut.
