  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted in 3/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
