- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 1/2 lb. cream cheese
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 lb. dates, cooked with 1 c. water
- 1 c. nuts
- 3/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Mix margarine, cream cheese and flour to make dough.

3Cook dates with 1 cup water, stirring until thick, to make filling.

4Add nuts and sugar to date mixture.

5Roll out dough and cut with biscuit cutter.

6Place filling on circle.

7Fold in half and seal with fork.

8Dip in sugar.

9Bake on middle shelf for 20 minutes.
