  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1 c. dates, chopped
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 c. coconut

Directions

    Combine sugar, milk and butter; cook until forms soft ball stage.

    When bubbles pop and hiss, add dates.

    Cook until thick. Remove from heat; add nuts and coconut.

    Stir until real stiff. Turn out on cloth dipped on cold water.

    Roll into 2 logs and wrap in wax paper and place in refrigerator.

    Slice as needed.
