  • 1/4 c. Crisco
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 c. canned milk
  • 1 c. cut dates

Directions

    Cream Criso, sugar and salt until light and fluffy.

    Stir in eggs.

    Add milk.

    Stir in dates.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 450° for 10 minutes; then 325° for 40 minutes longer. Serve plain or with whipped topping.
