Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple (8 1/2 oz.)
  • 1/4 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 pkg. diced dates (8 oz.)
  • 1 c. whipping cream

    Drain pineapple well.

    Reserve 1/4 cup liquid.

    Gradually add pineapple juice and sugar to softened cream cheese.

    Beat until fluffy.

    Add pineapple, pecans and dates.

    Mix well.

    Whip the cream using chilled bowl and beaters.

    Fold whipped cream into date mixture.

    Spoon into serving dish and chill.
