- 4 to 5 medium potatoes
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 small onion
- garlic powder
- 1 c. crushed tomatoes
- water (to cover potatoes)
- 1 jalapeno pepper
Directions

1Dice potatoes.

2Brown and crumble ground chuck with chopped onion and garlic to taste.

3When almost browned, add potatoes. Brown lightly.

4Drain any grease that remains.

5Add tomatoes and enough water to cover potatoes.

6Cover and cook until potatoes are tender.

7Add the jalapeno pepper before you cook.

8Just drop it on top of potatoes.

9Serve with corn bread or corn tortillas.
